Places a full datestamp at the bottom of figure.

This is some simple code that stamps the current figure at the bottom. It is vital when handling and saving a large number of figures automatically.
It has been adapted for Linux as well as Windows.
The idea is a good one, but I don't think this does what the author means for it to do. The resulting date stamp will only be visible if the plot axes contain the origin.
