ESA (Ecological Systems algorithm), a novel bio-inspired search algorithm is used to tune a PID controller of the three tank problem. The main function is "Main_ESA_PID_Tanks.m" which includes the search algorithm that uses a Simulink model of the problem "TankPID_control_tune.slx" while searching for the best controller gains. The function "TestTank.m" can be used to check the gains.
