YOSEMITE MATLAB R2013a PATCH ISSUE

So I upgraded to yosemite and did the link and added the patch to my MATLAB student version, Specifically R2013a_patch_1098655.dmg. I complete the steps and at the end it says Patch Complete. But then when i try to launch MATLAB it still says the same message and does not open an says "You cant use the version of the application 'MATLAB_R2013a_Student' with this version of OS X(You have 'MATLAB_R2013a_Student' R2013a (8.1.0).
PLEASE HELP!

I'm having the same problem.. The patch is not working for me either.

Did you call them like I said to in my answer below? If not, why not? It's free and they WILL get it working.
