In MATLAB 2014b, how can I undock the editor into one window but dock all my scripts into that single window? (not dock them into the command window)

I just don't understand this. Can someone please help?

In the dark-blue frame of the editor window,
  1. On the right-hand side, click the down-arrow icon (boxed in red in the screen shot)
  2. Choose "Undock"
Screenshot taken on Mac/Yosemite, it may look a little different on other platforms.

If you follow the screen shot and click 'Dock All in Editor' you can then click and drag the editor where you want it (so out of the command window).

How about undocking Simulink windows for 2014a?? I have a chart/state flow with manual switches, and I cannot see how the transition is working because I can only have either my System view (containing Chart) or the view of Inside the Chart... Frustrating!!
