Same question. Do we just have Matlab running on only one computer at a time?

Historically the permanent Student Version license could be used on two computers at a time. That might still be the case, but when I look at the license file included in my R2014a release (which is the license file for all license types together, apparently), the text says that Student Version licenses can only be used on one computer (but you can change the computer, provided you do not do it too often.)
The Home license can only be used on one computer.
The Professional / Commercial individual license can be used on 2 computers simultaneously; the limit used to be 4 simultaneous activations of which only 2 could be in use. I am not finding that 4 limit right at the moment but I might be overlooking it.
The Academic licenses are often special ordered from Mathworks, with whatever terms are negotiated. The ones that are not, that follow the default terms, can be used on 2 computers simultaneously.
